It works for me. I used a citi card and applied the code. The $15 off showed at checkout.

Was able to add my Citi card but promo doesn't work, trying to buy a Amazon branded cable from sold/shipped by Amazon and it just says cannot be applied.

i'll look. really haven't found any other ones for vendors i actually use. the amazon egc doesn't accept the promo code otherwise i'd just stock up on amazon gcs

Just so people are aware, it's not just a matter of adding your citi card as one of the payment options on your account, you have to "link" your citi card to your amazon account, which means you have to log into citi (or use the app) and give Amazon permission to get your data from citi. I'd have no problem using my citi card to pay for a purchase to get the $15 off, but I'm not about to give amazon access to my citi account.
Perhaps I'm reading the 'terms and conditions' wrong, and if so someone please correct me Smilie

I added mine manually and made it the default card -- went to checkout page and no problem entering promo code for discount
