I love a good deal. I love breakfast and diner food. I wish I could love IHOP but I have been disappointed by them too many times. I tried....I really tried..... to give them a chance....

Ihop was great back in my college days. Nowhere could you get food at 2am after a hard study session for about 5 bucks. Few months ago, visited an Ihop after a decade since last visit, my 2 eggs, bacon, hashbrown, 2 buttermilk pancakes and a coffee cost nearly $20 before tips/taxes. Yea, no way in hell I'm stepping into another Ihop again. Food used to be decent. Now it's on par with public school cafeteria food.

IHOP has gone down the hill after covid. They changed the menu, raised the prices and now it just doesn't make sense to go there anymore. RIP Ihop.

My local IHOP charges 3.89 for a soda and the cheapest burger with fries is $14.

The 30 oz soda is $5.

I wonder if most people don't care and the lost sales don't matter at the new price. I will never pay that much.

I tried using the bonus card at a restaurant and they said I need to redeem it online. It didn't make sense to me but to be fair, the bonus card 10 digit code is alphanumeric and quite different than a regular gift card code. Either way, stuck with a bonus card until i use it online.

I need to look at the prices before I get a soda back when it was sub $2 but now almost everywhere charges over $3

FYI, some stores may be running a MTG Arena promo for up to 2k exp in game. They apparently have themed pancakes for the planeswalkers but I haven't seen it at our local one.

Good timing on this deal as we were already going tonight. Still fun for a casual date with the wife and I'm a sucker for pumpkin pancakes.

I bought the $30 gift card, got my $10 gift card. I went to Ihop today and they said they couldn't redeem the $10 gift card because it was invalid. Oh joy! Now I have to deal with this stupid customer service. And I'm sure they will say "try again". Like, I'm not going to spend $12 on a waffle again. I just wanted my 25% discount and never come back until the next decent deal Big Grin
