I have given up on Cheesecake Factory. They offered free cheesecake gift certificates when you bought Gift cards and when I redeemed them the slices were much smaller than buying them per slice full price. I asked the waiter why the slice is small and they said the free gift certificate for slice's of pie are smaller. What a shame! I finished using my gift cards and stop giving them my business.

They denied my gift card because I didn't save the attached letter. After that I stopped going there.

I would hate to see the size of the slice of cheesecake, smh. As the price has gone up, the slices are noticeably smaller. For $4.50, you might be getting a sliver.

Harry & David (yes the pear company) produce all the cheesecake for the cheesecake factory. They don't even make it themselves.

Does that matter? I can't imagine anyone assumed they literally have off-site cheesecake factories of their own to supply restaurants.

It's pretty normal for any chain with its own desserts or soda flavors or bread dough to have it produced in a food facility that fulfills hundreds of recipes for other brands. The cheesecake menu and recipes are still planned and made according the the Cheesecake Factory's requirements.

That's not true. They have two bakeries that make the cheesecakes and send them to their restaurants. Harry and David handles mail order cheesecakes for the Cheesecake Factory (if those are different/made by Harry and David, I don't know as I've never ordered mail order from them before).
