Not to shoot you down or anything, but this was available about a month ago for the same price with 2 extra batteries, or $155 if you elected to return them. Maybe the deal will resurface.

Ryobi circular saw is quite shitty. And since underpowered quite not precise. In process of getting Makita. Use Ryobi one only for light not precise work.

Check reviews:
Like a previous reviewer said, this saw lacks power to cut through 3/4" plywood and butcher block.

Just anecdotally, I cut 1 3/4 butchers block with the smaller non brushless Ryobi circular saw yesterday. Took about two minutes to get from end to end of an 8' block, but it did the cut. The brushless 7" should be able to handle plenty. But as with all Ryobi tools the benefits for me are more convenience of already being in the eco system than quality of the tool
