This definitely looks like regional deal as someone else suggested.
- Note: It seems to only work on IOS for store pick-up. For Android users, I'd suggest chatting with CS after the purchase.
- Create/ Log in to your Home Depot account (Might as well download the app at this point and do it for convenience, but not a requirement yet).
- Go to item for purchase- desktop. mobile or app, doesn't matter, add the "free gift" from the same product page (in this instance, 2ah batteries - the only thing you can select). Complete the purchase.
- After the item is confirmed, on the app go to the purchase, hit cancel. and you will have the option to select either item (primary or bonus - the app is necessary because the desktop will ONLY let you cancel both).
- Cancel the gift, the primary purchase will remain at the discounted price for pick-up/delivery.

you must be "new" to the ryobi hackable deals at home depot. no worries.
Basically you initially pay full price, add the free gift item to the order.
When you pick up your order or after it's delivered to your home, you go to the physical store and return the gift item to get the refund, which brings the entire price down.
