Electrical tools on clearance at Lowe's YMMV on price/availability B&M only

My local Lowe's is clearancing out most of their electrical tools to make room for the exclusive Klein deal I am guessing. Price & availability at your local store will vary, online prices not reflective of what is at the store
Items include premium brands like Knipex and Greenlee

Klein switched retailers maybe exclusive agreement expired w hd. But yeah at my local store all the Ideal brand on clearance, $30-40+ range pliers made in China. Hopefully Klein doesnt go this route.

The 'China' part isn't wholly true for all of the pliers. I went to two Lowe's stores today and looked over the stock. I picked up a fish tape and reviewed most of the pliers, screwdrivers and wire strippers.

Many of the screwdrivers were made in Taiwan. A pack of nut drivers was made in China.

Some pliers and wire strippers (stranded, romax) were Made in the USA, so I picked up couple to flip. They had some stainless steel ones that looked nice, but those were made in Taiwan, so I passed.

I need a breaker fonder/tracer. Any suggestions? I am a Home owner just want to mark my breakers not an electrician to spend so much money on expensive tool.

I don't think it's an "exclusive" deal with Lowe's. My HD cleared out several Klein items, but they still have at least half the number as before, and they are still full price, so if there is anything exclusive to Lowe's, it is probably some specific items.

Anyone out there interested in Ideal USA made long-nose pliers, check closely for model 35-3038 "smart grip" blue and yellow handled ones with the USA flag background on the packaging. Don't know if they're old stock, but they are mixed in with the black and blue "smart grip" handled China pliers that are shown on the website. Marked down to $12.98, about as cheap as you'll ever see USA made long nose electrical pliers.

I went with klein d228 for $30
