unfroze all 3 credit reports and jumped on applying this card, got approved instantly with 20K credit limit. Then froze all 3 reports again. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Wells Fargo is one of the most comically dishonest, predatory, criminal banks of all time.

They've lost multiple large class action lawsuits for brazenly unlawful and unethical behavior.

They've even lost class actions lawsuits regarding damages to investors from overstating reforms related to previous unethical conduct LMAO

They misled and damaged my parents during the mortgage crisis.

F#$! them and their greedy POS bank. Get as much as you can out of them, and then move institutions.

Makes no sense in my opinion. there aren't that many people who just got the card within the 90 day period anyway. All potential long term customers, at least they should have some sort of profile or targeting group that they can make an exception; such as people who don't have checking with them, people who are known big spender, and people who have decent size checking account in another bank. lol. a flat no to everyone seems to be a bad call.

On credit karma, my approval odds are Fair. I am debating should I apply as it does not seem to be promising. What was your approval odds before getting denied?

Keep in mind Wells Fargo is getting transfer partners in November. If they can pool Bilt points then they will be a major player in the award travel space. They'll have Hyatt and American Airlines.

they have sent tons of those 20k promos to me during those months. almost jumped in this afternoon until i searched for this topic. so i am sure plenty of people have failed for those earlier.
