unfroze all 3 credit reports and jumped on applying this card, got approved instantly with 20K credit limit. Then froze all 3 reports again. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
dang, they automatically replace my propel card with this. wish I got such an offer
application denied for the card, last card that I got from them was in 2021

Beware, I jumped on this about a year ago and got the bonus. Then 6 months down the road I got a $600 charge from a laundromat in California and I don't live there. The card had not been used for 6 months and was sitting in a drawer. I think Wells Fargo got and hacked and they didn't tell anyone.

So which credit company did they eventually pull from?
I've had 2x fraudulent transactions on my Propel, then once on my Autograph just recently...make sure you go over spending transactions regularly if you have Wells Fargo credit cards. Dispute is just a simple call away.
Very odd that I've had more fraudulent charges on my Wells Fargo card compared to all other cards combined (and that's at least 4x additional cards I use more regularly than WF).
This is true. I had to dispute and replace my WF credit cards twice this year.
Wellsfargo required in the past that new card owners come to the bank location to get the card approved after receiving their credit cards.
I am no sure if that is the case these days.
So like I always do, I signed up using my Google Voice number. I got accepted, received my card, and when I tried to sign up for an online account, they stated they cant use my current number. In order to put my real US phone number in there, I have to visit a bank, which is over 200 miles away. So I just charged $1,500 to the card, will pay it off, and throw the card in the safe to never be used again.

Its not the case anymore, though I had another issue for which I needed to visit a bank location (change phone number in order to sign up for online access) and now in limbo.
Got pending and called their status number they emailed me right away. Told me I got denied for the amount of revolving cards I opened in the last 24 months.
Checked creditkarma and though I have many cards that say I have a high chance of being approved for, it says my chance for that one is poor.
Got it. Recently closed my only WF account hadn't used it in years for it for the phone insurance which is a great feature but you have to pay your bill with it. I use the Verizon Visa for that so won't use that feature.
But I will use 12 months of 0% to pay for daycare, nice to have flexibility with that. $300 bonus is worth the inquiry hit. Not applying for any loans anytime soon. Pay me!

It's unfreeze to freeze its prevents hard inquiry on your credit report
