If you are Google Fi users, you can order from Google Fi app and get INSTANT $400 off on 8 Pro and $300 off on 8. But trade-in values suck. I get only $90 for my Pixel 6 while google store gives trade-in of $325.

I ordered from Fi app.

Another thing to consider buying at BB vs. Google store is that BB will refund the tax difference. Meaning you'll pay tax on end cost after trade in vs. on full price at Google.

I don't know man, every time Google has had a day one trade in, that was always the best deal they've had. I'm pretty sure I got my pixel 6a for under $100 after trade in, free pixel buds, 10% Google One, cash back, credit card cash back, etc.

Same phone? Pixel 8 has double the screen brightness, higher display refresh rate, new G3 chip with improved GPU, stronger glass, and slightly bigger battery. Small upgrades in more areas, but still upgrades.

Right decision this time ...no need to rush unless tiv are great as p8 or p8pro drops in value in a month and google also not treat them valuable for p9

For whatever reason trade-in is only available on the regular P8 right now on Best Buy for me. The pro does not provide the option. But on the 8, I can get the trade in values and get the free buds - so it seems like a better option overall than google.
