Final trade-in value includes promotional credit of $100. So it's not trade-in value + $100.

1. You need a plan and the cheapest one is 15 + tax
2. You need to keep the plan active for at least 67 days
3. After 67 days, you need to call/chat to request unlock
4. Your total initially when placing the order is 399 + tax
5. After you send in your trade and they receive it, it will take around 2-3 weeks to receive the trade in credit. Depending the agent who processes your trade in but I believe most of the time, it will post to your account and you need to call in to request them crediting back to your CC.

Hope that helps

You will pay 399+ tax when placing the order. After they process your trade in, you will get whatever the amount (218 in your case) crediting to your account. The 36 months contract is only for payment plan. You can cancel your plan anytime after the trade is processed and your phone is unlock if you pay in full.

So if you don't want to do a trade-in you can just open a new line and pay $399?

Can someone help: If they aren't giving pixel watch 2 or buds how is it better deal than Google store if we factor in the price of these watches.
I'll be paying 300 for p8p 128 with no watch and crap trade-in.
My cost from google (assuming 100 for trade-in) would be ~700 for same phone with watch. It's ok if I wanted a watch but I'm not forced into buying one.

The trade in value of my S22+ is 200 (without the promo). With the promo it is 300.

"The $200 trade-in value and additional $100.00 promotion credit will be processed after your device is received and verified. If the final trade-in value exceeds the cost of the new device, the difference will be credited to your account."

The verbiage below your trade-in value should have the break down similar to mine above.

Right, just the way you broke it down and the way Spectrum trade in shows is confusing. Just want to make sure people are aware when you click trade in on the product page that inlcudes the 100 dollar promo. I think some are thinking it this number + $100. Probably would have made sense they just left the trade in be the normal price and add the 100 after. Either way thanks for the response.

You are correct. It is indeed confusing so I just updated the original post. Thanks for suggestion.

I did see once you accept the trade in it does break it down on the bottom of the page the trade in + 100. I was checking a few phones I had so I never clicked accept.

I think the OP needs to update this trade in example. The trade in value of your phone includes that promo. So I don't think they are getting it for 99 + tax. If they're getting 200 that includes the 100 dollar promo so it really 199 + tax. When I do a trade in estimate it says "Estimated trade-in value includes promotional credit"

Unless on checkout it actually broke it down differently. If anyone has a real checkout example to post.
Here is the math. The phone is $399 with no trade. But, if you trade in a phone like my cricket 2023 g stylus 5G. Spectrum will give me $10 plus the extra $100 credit. The total would be $110 for my trade. Now, we do the math.

$399-110= $289+$30 taxes. My total price is $319.

Depends on what you want, the Flip5 camera is mediocre at best and to me the flip thing was more gimmick than useful. I got rid of mine pretty quickly, went back to my trusty, dusty OnePlus 8 waiting for another deal, and I am going to give this Pixel a shot at this price. This will be my 4th Spectrum trade-in deal and they've all gone smoothly.
Thanks!

You can but you are missing out on additional savings from a trade in. Their trade in values aren't very high but they are giving at least $200 for pretty much anything.

I signed up for this. Selected the obsidian /256 GB variant. My iPhone X trade in is valued at $80 because it has a bad screen. I was told that $80 + $100 bonus will be given as monthly credit over 36 months and not right away.

So glad I moved to spectrum. The connection in southern CA is on par with Tmobile, what I used to have. Spectrum has the best upgrade deals that I have seen in the past.
