Never understood the purpose of this tool. Why would it be better than a grinder that everyone has been using for the past 50 years??

Better form factor, dust collection, shoe, and depth adjustment. I think of it as a mini circular saw rather than a grinder.

Residential Service plumber here. This tool gets used for me about 1-2 times per month. I don't need it often, but when I do need it, it offers a tremendous amount of value.

My favorite uses for this are cutting into tile for bathrooms when converting a 3 Handle Shower Valve to a Single Handle Shower Valve from Moen with extended trim plate to hide the gap in the wall and also to cut around tile floors to install replacement toilet flanges to the drain connection under the toilet. I don't need something with a ton of power, I need something that is easy to maneuver, doesn't require being plugged into an electrical outlet, and keeps the mess to a minimum. This tool has checked all those boxes for me for about the past year and a half. Very happy with this tool.

I bought this for $99 tool only from home depot. Just cutting drywall it bogs down very easily. Even with a 6ah xc battery. Very disappointing from a Milwaukee fuel tool. If you need a tool in this form factor go for Dewalt as per this video https://youtu.be/FN1FYejWuOg?si=4rnb_aLWNlAW25Jh
