The 20% off coupon on my account worked on this even though it said not on apple products. YMMV if you even have it.

I was able to use my 20% off code & use chase/paypal for 5% back. I activated my receive $10 Target gift card if I spend $50 but it has not tracked yet. Does anyone know when that will update?

I bought two for $299.98. With 20% off Storewide and Redcard 5% discount, they subtracted $72. Not including tax, the total was $113.99 for each phone.

Here are my two questions: Can I trade in this phone without activating it? Can these be used for surfing the web without activating?

I know best buy took locked trade ins. You can definitely use it as an ipod but makes sense to get it unlocked and have as a backup. Cheapest plan ive seen readily available is their $30 but some have mentioned a $15 plan.
