Despite the naysayers, getting a decent-sized TV for $80. is a good thing. Wouldn't let me rep you.
It's a 32 inch screen. Your description of the difference is overblown in my opinion. If it were bigger, like 50+, I'd be more inclined to agree. Not to say there isn't a difference at 32, but I think for a spare room or something with casual use, it'd be fine.
What do you guys think of this for a guestroom?

Cannot believe the number of comments and consternation over an $80 tv. These are unreal times.

It's 2023, 720p is too low. At some point you gotta draw the line. The first 720p tv was 25 years ago. After 25 years, It's time to expect 1080p as the base.

I have 3 4K TVs of various side from 75 inch to 43 inch, a 43 inch 1080p, and a 32 inch 720p. 99 percent of video is indistinguishable because of the quality of the stream. Most over the top cable services thr majority of the channels are 720P, most streaming services have all kinds of different bitrates. From what I have seen most people would be better off investing in their Internet and WiFi setup if they want to improve their picture quality.

720P is fine at this size.

at 32" as a bedroom TV can you even tell the difference between 720p/1080p/1440p/4k?

No. Barely if at all for most of the video you are going to watch.

All the negative comments smh…these tvs are great for kids rooms! Kids don't care how sharp the picture is or the contrast ratio. They just wanna watch their shows/movies and it's a sigh of relief knowing it's only 80 bucks if it breaks.
You must have raised them right, some are spoiled enough to care I bet. Me I just won't get them glasses, problem solved.

Thanks, I am going to bring back CRTs for the children.

I bought a 32" Phillips Roku tv for $100 not even a year ago. It's also 720P and really, who cares? The screen is small enough that it isn't that big of a deal. Having Roku built in saved me from spending $30 on a new one of those which I would have needed to buy to add to it. That TV is now $118 at Walmart so this with a new Roku box is probably a better option

A stand alone fire stick is 25 bucks ffs. This is a no brainer for a spare tv.

I have no problems with people that want to buy this 80 dollar 32 inch 720p tv.

BUT, last year during BF from oct-dec 2022 you could pick up a 43 inch 4k ROKU for 99 dollar-110 dollars. I say this because it gives you guys more options and better everything. Good for gaming. And computer use.

For 20 dollars extra, 32 inch 720p or 43 inch 4k for 100-110 dollars. Target were selling them, and other places sometimes with codes/specials to lower the price even more.

So get his 720p 32 inch or wait a few days to one month to see better stuff. Happle hunting.

43 inch 4k tv's seem small to me, and I use to use 32 inch 720p's maybe 4-5 years ago. I think 43 inch is the smallest hdtv for me. But maybe you prefer 32 inch or 27 inch or 22 inch tv.

I bought a couple of the non-smart version of these for my brothers to have in their rooms last Christmas. See one is rough on his stuff and the other doesn't use his much lol. They've both held up great. My only complaint is they only have a power button and nothing else on the TV.

Got one of these a few months ago for a kitchen TV. It's an ok TV but can't stand the fireOS and hate the remote.
