Although the Best Buy product listing reads "Save up to $1,140.00 when you trade in a similar device [archive.ph]" (screenshot [archive.org]), there is currently no trade-in value that high. When I collected the data from all 2816 eligible trade-in SKUs, the highest trade-in value was $950.00.

No , you will not get bonus value. All you get is the basic value as gift card.
Last year when bestbuy gave gift card inlcuding bonus value and people abused the hell out of it. So they changed it last year itself.

OP update (October 6, 2023 at 05:00 UTC): Some trade-in bonuses have expired early. See this diff [pastebin.com] for the expired trade-in SKUs/products. The red lines are the deals that expired, and the green lines below them are the updated trade-in values. The purple lines have no special meaning. The last number of each line is the final trade-in value in dollars.

I went with the 7 pro plus I still had $106 gift card left over from last year trade in for 6 pro and used BB card for 5% credit $40 to spend later. Was like $412 plus a $40 or $45 in rewards. Around $370 in the end. Not as good as last years trade where I ended up paying $79 with trade after gift card and rewards. But I got a watch I will probably never wear. Maybe I will sell it to bring price down further! How much for Google watch 2 new unopened box I wonder?

The only option I see for iphone 13pro trade in is for ones bought from tmobile, verizon, sprint and AT&T. What if I bought the phone directly from Apple, do I just pick any carrier?
