Although the Best Buy product listing reads "Save up to $1,140.00 when you trade in a similar device [archive.ph]" (screenshot [archive.org]), there is currently no trade-in value that high. When I collected the data from all 2816 eligible trade-in SKUs, the highest trade-in value was $950.00.

You are right. But I didn't want to deal with the issue of trading in an iPhone SE which is likely tied to some carrier. I know people said that it does not matter, but I didn't want to take a chance.

Plus it is a pain to sell the Pixels in the used phone market.

But I guess you do have to make an effort when it comes to saving money.

You're right about it being a great metaphor. I do have a knack for coming up with them. Going along with it, what you said is what people who can't afford ferraris would say. And you can't say people who can afford it are silly because they can't be that silly if they got to that point financially.

Is there any way to return the buds or watch for a partial refund after getting the pixel 8 /8 pro. Seems you can do it on amazon so wanted to see if you can do it at best buy since amazon doesnt accept trade ins

So I haven't seen this been asked yet or this being clarified enough but, is it possible that I could trade in an unlocked phone and use it towards the Pixel 8 Pro pre order? I have placed a pre order but the phone I'm using is currently being used on Google Fi and I placed the trade in phone to be under T-Mobile so I don't know if it really matters what carrier I state the phone is or if it really matters. Looking to ship the trade in out by the way.

Every time I do a Pixel deal I come back to Apple. I am tempted to trade my iPhone 11. I don't know if I should fight the urge. The 11 probably has one major update left in it. Sitting at 100% battery health also.

I have a 13 Pro Max with busted back glass but everything works fine even the cameras, according to the website I'll get 775. I went ahead and ordered, if when they get the phone they try offering less can I get my phone back? I had a 6a and loved it but the screen died so I bought this iPhone, it is nice but the camera can't compete with the 6a in my uses so I am going back to
