Although the Best Buy product listing reads "Save up to $1,140.00 when you trade in a similar device [archive.ph]" (screenshot [archive.org]), there is currently no trade-in value that high. When I collected the data from all 2816 eligible trade-in SKUs, the highest trade-in value was $950.00.

I have pixel 7 as well and tried the link. It showed $450 off with trade-in (and $200 e gift card without trade in) which is somewhat consistent with OP posting ($200 off base + $250 bonus).

It's more nuanced than this.
  • For some reason, the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has a $340.00 bonus, unlike all the other iPhones since the iPhone XR, which have a $300.00 bonus.
  • The Google Pixel Fold does not have a bonus.
  • Only the Samsung Galaxy "20" through "22" series have $200.00 bonuses.

The value for the iphone xs is wrong. The OP put the value the XS max is giving. Still $440 for the base XS is insane considering it usually goes for under $200 in good condition on ebay (Max is typically $70-100 more)
