Fender FA 235e
By Gregory M.
Excellent guitar.. beautiful finish comfortable neck. Not as full sounding as a full size dreadnought but extremely articulate. Setup very well and frets dressed nicely. Overall a wonderful guitar at this price point. I definitely recommend it.
Visually stunning, with a gorgeous flame maple top, the FA-235E offers legendary Fender sound at a budget friendly price. Quality laminate construction with a modern Fender 3+3 headstock and Viking bridge create an easy-playing instrument that sounds great.
Modern Fishman electronics allowing you to take your sound to the stage with ease. Developing and experienced players alike will appreciate the mahogany neck that gives the guitar a lively tone while complementing the flame maple top.

Those who listened to me and didn't by that firewood junk acoustic from Monoprice rejoice. A real Fender with a flamed maple top for $140! This isn't a great acoustic, but you cannot beat it for the price at its size. Adorama accepts returns. What are you waiting for?
Surprisingly decent reviews on Amazon and other sites. Should be a nice beater acoustic for my living room where my toddler's monkey paws can molest it without worry. Thanks!
I had a similar FSR model (just different colored top) a few years back. Very comfortable, had a pretty good sound for its size, but the gloss on the top was extremely thick. Even as a relatively new player, I could tell that the sound was a bit muffled by that extra material.
Ultimately sold it, but wish I hadn't - it was very well worth what I paid (got the same deal from Adoroma, oddly) and better than the non-name brand alternatives.
