I have 3 of these on my desk since launch day. Fantastic to live 8-12 hours a day in front of.
Lower refresh rate.
Zero display ports.
Zero curve.
Not an ultrawide.
Not a monitor.

Any other monitor or technology you recommend at the 450-800 price range? I like these dimensions - 32 could also work. TIA!

This is basically a 32" 1600p that has been stretched wider. Dell and LG have more productivity-centric 38" monitors, but I don't think they are any cheaper (right now).

Ambient light sensor has slow responses.
It is cool that with your limited experience - you haven't noticed burn-in yet, but it is a literal fact that the O(rganic) in OLEDs degrade with use. They get dimmer with time. It is literally a byproduct of their function. Burn in occurs because some pixels get more use than others, thus degrading at different rates.
Modern OLED firmware does a lot to try and limit the degradation - but it happens nevertheless.
Meanwhile, something like this monitor will likely look the same in 10 years. Likely measurably dimmer than brand new, but uniform and definitely usable. I have a U3011 - IPS from 2011. Still very usable not no distracting artifacts or burn ins.
I own a 42" C2 and the LG variant of this monitor (38" IPS). I prefer to use my 38" for general purpose / productivity, and 42" for movies and console gaming. I didn't use my OLED as my main monitor as I didn't want to worry about changing my computer usage habits and babying the screen to minimize burn in.

i end up getting DWF model - without G-Sync Ultimate
reason being,
1. Firmware update - you will need to send it back to Dell. and heard its pain in a butt to convince them have them update. not to mention you won't have monitor for god knows how long.
2. color accuracy is better with DWF model. it depends on which panel you get but most review had better accuracy.
3. Price - its cheaper. who doesn't like discount
4. unless you really need extra 10Mhz refresh rate for your competitve gaming, you probably won't notice that much difference for everyday use. yes. G-Sync ultimate has more feature if you have Nvidia GPU. for me it wasn't that important.
5. heard about monitor built-in fan issue. - no thanks. computer fans are loud enough already.
nothing wrong with this model if you want G-Sync Ultimate

Yeaaaaa, it's panel lottery. Not worth dealing with RMA nightmares if you get unlucky.
