I can't speak to these specific shoes, but I ordered several pairs of Kinvaras, Rides and an endorphin pro from DSW over the past few months on these deals that have popped up, and all have arrived correctly in great new condition. Maybe we've been lucky.

Saucony is definitely more roomy, especially in the toe-box, than competing mass-market brands like Adidas and Nike.

I'm pretty convinced the black Xodus model is actually a Women's shoe, not a Men's shoe, and thus is mislabeled on DSW. Here are a couple of links for proof/reference:

Same! And they blamed me for ordering women's shoes, when my order clearly said Men's. So they placed a reorder for me and they sent Women's Again! And, of course, they blamed me again for ordering the wrong shoes even though they placed the order.

So, 2 trips to return 2 pairs of shoes that I never ordered.

I've found them to run narrow especially if you get anything with Gore Tex as it doesn't flex as much due to the nature of the material. I tried Peregrine 12 at my local shoe store and they were tighter in the toe box and mid foot than the Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 8 I ended up buying. I go through a lot of trail shoes as that's where I spend a lot of my free time. My daily lows are New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro v7, but I have those in wide. Most comfortable by a mile are my Adidas Terrex Free Hiker 2.

They have cancelled 4 attempts to buy this. Issue on their end is all I get for explanation. It shows in stock

I don't think that's true. DSW lists both a women's and men's shoe for the Xodus. Saucony does not currently have an Xodus men's shoe, but they do have an Xodus 2 men's shoe which indicates that the Xodus men's shoe is discontinued since it is an older model. This is further reinforced by the fact that we see discounts on the Xodus almost as if the stock is slowly being cleared. Most other retailers also list the Xodus in a women's and men's shoe. I agree it is a bit confusing since they look and are named identically.

So, I guess just closely look at the model number?
