There are new ones to choose from for the same price along with the used -- if that helps any!

With new M3 Pros only a few months away, this is an old laptop. Needs to be $1400 or less to be worthwhile IMO. A refurb M2 is probably a better deal.

This is 2 generations old. M3 is almost out. I wouldn't get this for more than $1500.

I don't get the thumbs down. An equivalent new Macbook M2 from Apple is $2,899 (12/19 core M2,32 GB RAM, 512GB SSD). I think this isn't a bad deal to be honest but I'm still on the fence. I'd have gone for it if it was 1 TB SSD.

It's a great price compared to original retail, but it's also been this price at Adorama for nearly a year. I posted about it ~6mo ago, only to find it had been posted before me.

In the meantime, other configurations at other other vendors have been steadily dropping in price.

Edit: Was $50 more when I posted, so it's come down slightly.

Ah, good to know. I guess I'll hold out a bit longer and hope for an M2 at a good price once M3 comes out.
