Oh wow! Oral-B recommends replacing the head every 3 months. I have been replacing every month and thought it was too soon.
Good to know!
Every month? These heads are so expensive compared to the other Oral-B. Even at 3 months they get pretty expensive for something I am not sure is any better than the regular Oral-B when used properly.
I wish Costco would start carrying the brush heads in store since the online price is always higher than what it would be in store. Surprising that Sam's has the brush heads in store but Costco doesn't.

The older and other oral-b electric models don't have the too low and perfect pressure sensor lights. The other only have high pressure sensor light.
I find it difficult to know what is the perfect pressure without that sensor even though my teeth are smooth after brushing. And you can't judge if you have brushed your teeth properly if you don't know how properly brushed teeth should feel.
They are not making money on the toothbrush body, so they are recuperating using the brush heads. It's still probably too much $, but we are paying for good tech. and convenience.

Start with too much pressure and just back off of it until light goes away? I don't think it's that hard.

Hahah I read your reply before you edited it. I wish I was in marketing; I would be making the same amount of money for 10% of the work I currently perform.
I clean the back of my teeth, so my hand is at an angle for half the time. It's not as easy as you claim. I would rather have a calibrated pressure sensor help me brush my teeth properly every time.

(Also, what do I get for a $160 toothbrush that the $20 electric ones don't deliver?)
