Another way to look at it is you're getting a discount on the TV if you finance because money has value over time. Even if you could buy it outright, throwing that cash in a Treasury bill gets you 5% annually

Adding from the previous 77" thread…

Got 77" for 2105 before tax, including extra 10% from chat and $100 credit for tv trade in. Don't suspect it goes lower this year.

Mine arrived, but was cracked and no picture. Have to return and reorder, no replacements through Samsung.com. Also have to wait to get the price match to the reorder until after second order ships. They appear to only ship on Fridays so waiting a week for all of it. Huge pain.

It's a big discount but I probably won't order direct from Samsung again. This is the case where I may well wait until BF now and buy elsewhere.

Finance the TV at 0% and put the money in Treasuries or CD

Dang, that's part of the reason I didn't jump on the deal. I'm waiting for Costco's price to drop for the easy returns and local pickup, even if it's not quite as cheap

I got Samsung to provide the soundbar model Q800C for $293.80 and also the Samsung care+ for 2 years for free on the 55". With pickup at my local store and did the 0% financing. Did it via their website chat option.

Checkout for the 77" jumps to $2,900 for me. Anyone else? Deal over?
Clear your browser cache and re-enter starting at the AAA site... Or use incognito mode.

The thing is kinda glitchy and can take a few tries. When you get to the Samsung Site you should see the AAA discount at the top. (sometimes even then the price won't adjust right so try again)

Small Rant... I jut ordered this TV 77" last week and they won't give me another coupon code. The price without the coupon code is $27 cheaper today... If only I had waited a few more days and used that same code it would be under $2000...

He's talking about saving less than $100 to unmount and return 77" TV to Costco AND try to receive an equal replacement via Samsung freight without any issues.

It's Not worth the hassle. It's done. Move on. Enjoy your TV. Come back in 5 years to find a replacement.
I might do it, Unmounting is only 5 screws hah. Although with the CA gas prices driving to costco in CA kinda eats into the savings.

Hi guys, I just bought the 77" S90 from Costco last month with 5 years of total coverage for $2799.73 and mounted it 2 days ago. Beautiful OLED TV. Right now I have it in my Samsung cart for $2350.73 after taxes and recycling fee. How do you get the extra 10% off from Samsung? Everytime I chat with someone, they give me a link for $2620.73.

Do you think the extra coverage is needed/worth it? Also, which is the better deal in your opinion.
$2799.73 with 5 years of coverage from Costco
$2350.73 from Samsung with AAA discount
And/or I can purchase AllState 2 year for $170 $2520.73 or 4 years for $350 for a $2700.73

Which would you do?
cheapest price. I don't think the costco warranty covers burn in anyways, which is the most likely thing to happen.

interesting that they are giving you a link at all. When I first did this, I had to have accessed the site with AAA already to get the cheaper price. But I do wonder if you were to log in going through AAA, then click on the link if the coupon would be applied. The AAA price should be 2100 something though for the 77".

I had to do something similar. However....
When I returned the TV, the day after they picked it up, the 10% off code re-activated and I was able to re-use the coupon to get the TV slightly cheaper, rather than doing the whole price match mess.

It is not about if you have the money or not. I can afford 5 of these TV and 6 if I put one in my main bathroom. Why would I give my money to any company in advance if I can pay in 3, 5, 10 years interest free? My money in CD's, money market accounts is making me money when I am sleeping. I can pay this TV in 3 years with the interest my money is making me. And if I die tomorrow my money stays with my family not some corporation.
There's nothing wrong with financing something if you think you can get a better return than the interest rate. The problem is that most people use financing to buy things that they can't really afford, be that a car or now a TV. For everyone like you and I that will take financing deals and invest the difference, there's twenty people who use financing to keep up with the Joneses.

Discount program deal is still active, just can no longer be stacked with 10% coupon. You might need to remove the coupon code in order to see the $2,159.99 price, assuming you have EDU/EPP/AAA discount active.

Just bought the 77 with AAA discount for 2159. Chat gave me the promo code for 10% off but it didn't work with AAA price. Got 2 years of care+ for free instead. Does anyone know if I can cancel my AAA now, got it just for this deal.

Nice, I ended up getting a price match for that price but didnt get the care +. Thinking about returning it when it arrives later today and trying again with the new lower pricing.

I'd hold off a few more months. Samsung's TVs usually crash in price in November as well as in prep for superbowl. The s95c will likely hit around 1.1k in a few months if we follow what happened with the s95b

Is anyone debating between Samsung 10% vs 2-year warranty for this specific TV?

Anyone know the trick to getting the 10% discount? I can never get chat to give me one.
