Another way to look at it is you're getting a discount on the TV if you finance because money has value over time. Even if you could buy it outright, throwing that cash in a Treasury bill gets you 5% annually

Adding from the previous 77" thread…

Got 77" for 2105 before tax, including extra 10% from chat and $100 credit for tv trade in. Don't suspect it goes lower this year.

Mine arrived, but was cracked and no picture. Have to return and reorder, no replacements through Samsung.com. Also have to wait to get the price match to the reorder until after second order ships. They appear to only ship on Fridays so waiting a week for all of it. Huge pain.

It's a big discount but I probably won't order direct from Samsung again. This is the case where I may well wait until BF now and buy elsewhere.

How do people actually get experts to help. I spent an hour going round in circles to eventually get agent to commit to adding the 2 year care+ she said she would send a link to email that never arrived and when I refreshed cart the price had gone up from $1999 to $2249 for the TV it's almost like asking makes them hack the price up

The 77 inch is not reflecting the $1999 edu price but 2,249. I tried it with 2 edu accounts and am getting the same thing on 2 different browsers.

FYI Samsung confirmed that the price match was accepted and the refund will be applied once payment is processed, which take 2 to 3 days. So I'll be getting the 77" + $200 Samsung Credit + 2 years Care+ for $1,874.99 + tax.

super annoying that for black friday the jumped the epp price up to 2249. Chatted with an advisor and they said "prices are subject to change", but were willing to add the 2yr warranty for free.

Got the 65" for $1,367.99 with 2yrs Samsung care free by using chat and finding a 5% off code on another deal site. First chat rep wouldn't do anything, but 2nd created a cart and gave me a link. Then I added the discount code and changed to local Best Buy pickup today.
