Yeah this is misleading. I've had the Fold 2 and still have the fold 3 since day 1 and I've never had a problem with any of them.
You are not the norm. Most people I know, including me have had issues with the screen protector on it peeling off and the infamous hinge issue. That's why Apple still has never released a folding iPhone now as it's still not ready for prime time.

However, you can't mix two discounts. You won't get free storage upgrade if you take the EDU discount of $200.
Sucks. Looks like the lowest you can go is $599.99 with top end trade in or $749.99 with next best( like s21 ultra previously it was $799.99 they dropped it by $50?). They threw in free pen case but now it's back to storage upgrade ( which is better I guess?)

Why is app discount of $25 not getting applied? It can't be bundled with employee discount + trade in?

The Shop app, just like their website/customer service (lol) etc, is a huge pile of stinking poop!

At the price of the fold even with its foldable screen tech, the fold series should have the best tech or on par with the galaxy ultra series. It sucks having to choose between better specs or a bigger screen every year especially with the price premium of the fold.

I have a Fold 5. I got a free upgrade from Fold 4. I've found them to be too fragile, so I'm switching to something else for now. This is a great price though

I got my F4 on Aug 2022. Pampered it a lot but the fold stopped opening all the way and under warranty, they replaced the whole panel! 5 months later it happened again but my warranty is over this time! Even though I liked the folding phone concept a lot, the tech is still not there so I won't buy it again. Asking such an insane price for a phone that doesn't last even a year
