This is a pretty solid deal, even without the super high end display. The 1000-nits HDR / 650-nits SDR display is cherry on the top. As per various reviews, the laptop has adequet cooling to handle the CPU and GPU, without overheating & throttling.
Ordered lightning fast just a few minutes after this was posted. Everything went through and was processing normally until today when I received a message about the order being cancelled. According to Best Buy, the reason is that it's "currently not available." Anyone else have this experience?

For what it's worth just in case anyone else had this happen:
Today I saw that the product page was reporting stock again and it was purchasable at its original full price ($2,499), so I immediately reached out to Best Buy's support chat to see if they'd price match to my original order ($2,199). The agent was willing, but told me there was no stock. Sure enough I refreshed the page and was greeted with the "Sold Out" button. I asked if the price match was an adjustment that could be made after placing the order, and they said it was.
I waited a few hours and checked the page again. The button had changed back to "Add to Cart" so I went through the process of placing the order. I hopped on the support chat again and a few minutes later had a refund of $324.75 on it's way to my account. We'll see if it actually gets processed and shipped without issue.
Sometimes it's worth refreshing the product page and reaching out to the support channels. Good luck!
NEXT DAY EDIT: They applied the credit and then immediately cancelled the order. Seems like these models aren't going to be easy to procure.

Are you sure it's a *laptop*?
