I own this monitor - highly recommended. Only knock was that my powerbrick went out relatively fast - but easy fix.

Good price. Lowest I've seen for this model on SD. Lowest Amazon price was $497 in June (Source: camelcamelcamel).

1440 on a 34" seems less than optimal.
It's about as perfect for that size as you can get.

I own this one as well - absolutely love it. Right now playing Diablo IV, Starfield and CoD - games look great esp. paired with a beefy card.

As for WFH - also love it. I do a lot of coding so the extra real estate to have side by side windows is awesome.

most agree anything above 27" 4k is better.
34" ultrawide is the same height as a 27" monitor. It would be the same DPI, which is what that guideline is based on. 1440p on 34" ultrawide is a great size.

VA panel. While not everyone cares about having an IPS monitor, the monitor you linked is a lower quality monitor than the LG for those that do care about panel quality. This and the LG are in different categories.

For those that just want screen size for the lowest price, this may fit the bill.

I also have the same monitor and love it! I purchased in July of 22' but it came with the LG UltraGear GP9 speaker for a total of $751.01 after taxes/shipping so it's about the same price as then but without the speaker. Throw in the same speaker now and at this price and it's a no brainer. Btw, the speaker works great as well.

Just want to piggyback on this comment to echo the same sentiments. This thing is a beast for both gaming as well as coding. I run it using a 3080. Starfield looks especially great with the wide aspect ratio.

How's the text clarity on it?
