It's been this price for months. Don't get fooled by the fake discount. I bought this when it first drop to this price. I wish I didn't buy it. Already failing DO NOT recommend
DO NOT BOTHER.

The max write speed for these is pathetic, averaging 18 MB/s. (Note: some reports that the 1TB can be faster, averaging 30 MB/s.)

Get the Teamgroup A2 Pro Plus 1TB instead. It's more likely to fully saturate the Steam Deck's max SD card write speed of 104 MB/s, AND it's cheaper at $53.99.

Literally any other option is better than the Lexar Play given an equal price.
Uhh...the read speed of 150 is too slow but 160 is okay? That doesn't seem right.

Does 512 GB or 1 TB versions good enough to record 6K 60 FPS videos?

Lexar as a brand is dead to me just like all of their other defective storage devices they sell to the masses.

the read speed for this microSD is only 150MB/s which would be too slow for a tablet, the Lexar 1066x microSD has a read speed up to 160MB/s and write speed up to 120MB/s which would be much better. it's also on sale on amazon for about $35 for 512GB

All those marking like XC II, U3, etc mean stuff. There's an okay chart here but it's old. I gotta run out or I'd try to find a newer one! V30 U3 claims to be okay for 8K.

Might have been referring to poor write speeds for video capture and such. Read speeds seem okay for both.

The last Amazon Prime day a few months ago I got the 1TB Sandisk Extreme for my Switch and it has worked great. It is on sale for $80 right now.
