I bought a pair of these a couple months ago from the Google Store(I had to use up the remainder of the $200 credit I got when I bought my Pixel 7 Pro, so I only paid like $15 out of pocket) and I'm really enjoying them. The noise canceling works pretty well and they sound excellent. Granted, I don't have much experience with other expensive ear buds. The only other wireless earbuds that I've used/own are Jabra Elite Active 65t, Creative Outlier Airs, & Sony LinkBuds. None hold a candle to the Pixel Buds Pro, sound, fitment, & bluetooth connection wise.

For instance; When I mow my lawn, I like to pop in my ear buds and listen to some music. With my 3 previous sets of earbuds, they would all have occasional audio dropouts, even though my phone was in my pocket(I think the metal handle on the push mower interfered with the signal). With the Pixel Buds Pro I have no bluetooth/audio dropouts.

Are all colors newer version or is it only the porcelain? Only porcelain mentions with Charging Case[2]. That being said is there any difference between last year's and this?

Edit: According to 9to5google, no hardware difference only new colors to match Pixel 8.

Not a bad price at all w/o coupon (same price if you got a coupon from Google recently). I am still using my trusty Samsung Gear IconX (SM-R140) which are starting to wear down but unfortunately no one (including Google with these) makes buds with onboard storage (great for doing workouts without having to have your phone in range).

Google products couldn't hold value as Apple.
That's partly Google's fault with their current trade in values for their current flagships pulling trade in values the same as 5 yo apple XR :/ so disappointed

My guess is that they work better with Pixel phones. I've got a 6a and the "plain" Pixel buds. The phone reports the charge levels of each earpiece and the case. It also works with Google Assistant. I don't have a list of all the integrations to give you though.

Has anyone tried getting Google Store to price match? I've got Google Store credits I'd like to use with this deal. Thanks!

For me they were very uncomfortable and ANC not that good. I ended up giving them to family member and I own a pixel phone.

Nothing has been as good as airpods pro for me though I wouldn't really recommend it with android since I have to use iPad to update firmware. Nothing buds do seem to have similar design. Beats has a similar one to airpods but no stem

FYI, the sound quality on the Pixel Buds Pro are greatly improved using the AutoEQ feature with the Wavelet app running in the background. I've been really impressed with these buds after that change. Also improved the sound of my Sennheiser HD 58X headphones.

Did you miss the part where Apple's brand new AirPod Pros with USB C are also $60 off today?

How do these compare too the originals/ A's. I have the A's after my original batteries started dying but I miss the swipe for volume feature
