This Anker model doesn't have a remaining charge indicator, or a widget, or anything that let you know how much juice you got left…

I'm looking for one that will do that, also 15 W would be nice.

Wireless charging destroys battery health... numerous ppl saying they've lost 15% or more battery health in less than a year using magsafe wireless charging

Interesting. It makes a lot more sense to buy this if you already have the Anker Magnetic Wireless Charger 633 [amazon.com]. It's just the battery that's already included in the 633 so it gives you a spare.

While it's only 7.5W that's not the point - you're not waiting for it to charge your iPhone's battery, it attaches to your iPhone's case and you can take it with you. This battery is 5,000 mAh, the largest iPhone battery is only 4,422 mAh (iPhone 15 Pro Max). Plan on it doubling your battery life and you should be fine.

That doesn't make sense... the battery is isolated from the charging method (induction coils).

I almost exclusively use wireless charging (MagSafe) with my iPhone 14 pro outside of traveling where I use a cable.

Both at night and in the car (charging multiple times a day but only one "full" drain event a day on average).

A year later and I'm still at 97% battery health.

Anecdotal but draws some doubt to your statement.

Similar use case as yours and mine is sitting at 96% after s year. Been using wireless charging on multiple devices since xs max, never had any problems with battery degradation.

Seems to have remaining charge indicator - 4 lights (just arrived and pressed button to show partially charged)

Also has light to indicate when supplying power i.e. charging phone
