I have this saw and used it to rip some Mdf baseboards. Does great work with a diablo blade. You will need another set of tracks if you want to rip 8ft sheets

I have this, the only thing I don't like is the depth cut stop; it doesn't lock in place securely, if you push down hard enough you will push right through the stop and it doesn't take much effort.
