Got Tab S7 FE 128GB with Buds2 for $130 two years ago. Still works perfectly, not worth spending $300 to upgrade.

Yep, would definitely upgrade if you guys on the Tab S6 variant. I'll keep things short, if you plan to use this for couple years, pay extra $70 and upgrade to the 8GB with 256 storage. Else, get the cheapest one to use, 6GB Ram is okay if you are not resource hungry, you can potential trade this in for the Tab S10 in a year or two.

Those that have the Tab S7FE, there is really no need to upgrade unless you have the 4GB version and is super slow. Can save the Tab S7FE when there is a better trade in deal for the Tab S9/Plus.

Trade-in values aren't great, but notice that they give you options to also trade-in phone or tablet. If you're as disappointed as me w/ Pixel 7($235) and Pro($330) trade-in values upgrading to the Pixel 8/Pro, this might be the chance to get rid of it if you don't have a tablet you want to trade-in.

Snapdragon is a much higher end CPU compared to Exynos. Samsung is trying to cut the cost on their FE line.

My kid has the s6 lite 2020 version. She said it's slow and games lag. Is this a good upgrade for her ?

You can trade up to a new S9FE for only $149.99 (not $300 as you indicate) with your S7 FE.

good question

Exynos is inferior in almost every way to comparable Snapdragon processors. Samsung trying to maximize profits by using less reliable in-house chips.

If it's just for games I'd prob think a clean up for s6 lite is good enough
