They say that the existing owner discount only applies to the full priced items so you aren't going to be able to use it on this.

There is a 2% Amex Offers and. 8% cash back available out there.

Existing owner does not work on Hair Care Products. Only Vaccums and Fan:

Thumbs up to OP for this. I'm bummed, however, that one of the attachments I wanted (diffuser) is already unavailable. Otherwise, I definitely would've pulled the trigger on this.

Is the unit itself the same as all the other versions? It's just the attachment? Bought the Costco one on sale but literally don't use any of the attachments..

Bought for the wife awhile back as a gift and she didn't think she'd see the value in it. Now, if it breaks, she will immediately buy a replacement.

Yup, it's the same. I was initially worried about other changes, such as decreases on power, but the only difference between the Origin and the regular version are the attachments. Well, and colors, if that matters to you.

lol. Similarly, I told some friends about this deal and my friend bashed it because it's such an expensive hair dryer. A few days later, this product showed up and his doorstep - which is when he discovered his partner had purchased it... haha.

The Costco one was a good deal. It's the same SuperSonic. You can sell the stand and it already beats this deal.

You can get the same hair dryer from Bloomingdale without the case & extra accessories for $300, but you can stack with chase 15%/20% CB offer and some CB site.

With all the out-of-stock items, this deal is effectively dead. However, the $330 bundle with all 5 accessories, the case, and a brush is still available, and is arguably the better deal in the first place.

There's also the same dryer in Prussian Blue/Rich Copper with five styling attachments, a case, and a vented brush for $329 ($100 off). I went with this option since a few accessories were out of stock in the $300 offering from Dyson posted here.
