Note to the folks in marketing - IGNITION is not a word I want to see in a power supply's name

The price is not bad for 1200w, but who's ever heard of maingear?

Are the flat cables something to be trusted or upgraded? My non-modular 600W bronze psu from 12 years ago had braided/shielded cables that looked three times beefier than these cables. I'm wondering if this is innovation or cost cutting…

I have a maingear pc. Bought it during the pandemic when you couldn't so much as purchase a gpu. It's been performing flawlessly for over 2 years. They do offer some pretty nice builds. Whether they're a good value or not is another story.

It's micro centers in house brand from what I've heard. If I was building a PC I wouldn't hesitate to buy it

Wish I saw this earlier, looks like it's $140 now in-cart.

Reserved one a few days ago and got to run by to pick it up today. I don't think I'll ever need more than 850 watts (currently using a 600 watt, 80 plus bronze), but this is the lowest price we've ever seen for an 80 plus platinum PSU, so easy decision, and won't hold me back from going for the RTX 5090 and a power hungry processor next year.

Who cares? It's an FSP product that Maingear slapped their name onto. Only issue would be warranty.

You'll have to look at specs or manual to see if it's atx3.0.
