I will be opting out to remain on my current plan....but also keeping one eye open to switch when the time is right for me.
Previously, I was brand-loyal to T-Mobile and wasn't looking at alternatives.
I see Mint Mobile or US Cellular as viable alternatives.
I called to opt-out and stay on my Simple Choice; they swore up and down the row that they marked account OPTOUT and gave me $5 per line credit - not 25
Am sure at some point they will force me to go to Mint, although since they bought Mint - not sure how long THAT last
"Notifications for affected accounts go out on October 17th via email and SMS. We recommend most people wait until they receive a notification before reaching out to support to opt out. "
I used this simple line:
"I want to opt out of the upcoming plan migration. Please add grnoptout code to my account"
CSR applied it to my account and confirmed it
"I understand you regarding this and this is the confirmation in the account :
System Text
BAN level SOC created. SOC: GRNOPTOUT. Effective date: 10/13/2023."
I also confirmed it via Chrome on my laptop using F12 and viewing get-odt described in here

The day I'm forced to give up my One plan is the day I go to Verizon or Visible. Had great data coverage during their free trials.
Or business accounts - I have One Amplified.
They started going downhill when Legere left. I miss John.

"Hello and thanks for taking time out of your day to reach out to us again in Social Media Care as well as making us your go to channel with all things T-Mobile!
I understand your concerns, and we always want to ensure that you have full control over your T-Mobile account and rate plan. The migration campaign hasn't started just yet, however after taking a closer look at your account, I can confirm that account is safe from the rate plan migration change!
This means that no system generated changes will be made to your account, and no action (opt-out, or credit) is required to keep your plan as it currently is. Thank you for reaching out and taking time out of your day to ensure your account is not impacted with this latest change."
