Anyone tested out to see if the USB-C version works on Apple 15 iOS?

How often you need to charge it(use it) to make sure there is no battery issue because of total battery depletion which may lead to charging issue later?

I was looking at this last night and opted to not buy it because of this "The resolution of our FLIR ONE Pro LT is 80 × 60 pixels" There are alternatives that are cheaper for higher resolution (and power from your device so they don't need a battery).

yup, resolution is absolute garbage on these... then they interpolate and try to make it look more detailed. unless you've got tons of more for the good FLIR devices, don't buy this level.

What are other reliable brands with better resolution around this price and power from your device?

This seems like a much better option with 3x the resolution (256x192) for $224.

1. The ir sensor resolution is only 80x60!
Compare vs a 2014 Seek Thermal at 206x156.

https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/seek-thermal
https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/flir-one-pro-lt

2. You can usually get the Seek cheaper everyday ebay $150~ or less like I did.

3. WHAT?!? 2023 and the Flir STILL depends on an internal battery?? Seek doesn't and can run hours longer on your phone battery.
Look up Flir camera battery replacement and cry.

4. https://industrial-reviews.com/fl...ompactpro/

5. Seek Thermal camera
https://postimg.cc/gallery/ZZjXHXV
It can display temperature measurements on top of the phone's actual camera photos to find the usual home energy problem spots.

topdon goes up to 1024 degreesF whereas flir is limited to 248. higher temps are useful for detecting bad cylinders on exhaust manifolds

Almost pulled trigger on this one from Amazon, then checked eBay - manufacturer it selling direct through eBay with 20% off code, brings it down to like $191 + tax
