I know it's popular to trash NVIDIA right now and rightfully. Still, this is the best price I have seen on a stand-alone 4060ti if you must have team green. Not sure what comes in the "bundle" I think just the back plate.

Thumbs up.
But, if you need it fast, delivery is about 2 weeks, at least for me.

Don't get fooled by the marketing. This is an awful deal. This GPU should cost $250–275 max ($300 for the 16GB variant).

Edit: Initially thought this was a game bundle. Either way, it was a bad deal then, and it still is a bad deal now.

The 3060 launched at $330. So even if you say this should be the 4060 it's still way above a $250 card. At that price your asking for a 3050 replacement with the performance of a 3070. I don't think there's ever been that big of generational jump in a $250 card. The 3050 didn't match the performance of the 2060 let alone the 2070. Yeah this card is expensive at MSRP and it's disappointing when the 3060ti was such a good value. But this is far from $250-$275 card.

I will concede that $300, but no more, would be acceptable for the 8GB variant. This much the top tech reviewers agree upon.

But consider the following. The 3050 was joke and should have beaten the 2060. IMO, the 4060 Ti should have been a 4050 Ti, really. Both Nvidia and AMD shifted their naming schemes this generation to squeeze more money out of the consumer. I don't blame the business decision behind this, but as consumers we ought to fight back with our wallets.

$370 for this GPU is highway robbery... unless you really, really like Spider-Man, in which case I won't blame you if you buy it.

Hey, I agree 100%. The value of video cards is out of control right now, particularly for Team Green.

With that said, many people do not want to deal with AMD, which is a shame. Regardless for those on the NVIDIA bandwagon, it's the best deal on this tier video card. I agree this should be 299.00 but it won't get there until the refresh 40 series comes out.

MellowHalibut9900, mihscr, and Zerosyztems: I commend the three of you for having a civil discussion that is informative and has opinions based on facts and data.

Sorry - I simply don't see civilized and helpful conversations online often enough, so this made me happy.

Take care!

I guess people have forgotten about prices a few years ago during the crypto craze when people where paying hundreds of dollars over retail for GPUs if they could find one in stock.

If the 4060 ti can somehow make it's way to below $300 by black friday for me, it would be an instant buy.

With the 3060 ti being $275 a few months back and this card not scoring much better, this just still feels too high.

You are still stuck on 2016 prices. If that's what you are waiting for then it's gonna be a while for you. If this thing drops below $300 this holiday I'm insta-buying.

Funny how you forgot the 1060 when discussing xx60 tier cards...

A shame, indeed. I'm rocking an AM4 system with an RX 6800 and have no issues. The only driver problems I faced where when I replaced my old Nvidia GPU with the AMD one. But, after some troubleshooting, it's all been fine.

PS: For the record, even though I lean heavily towards Team Red, if both AMD and Nvidia offered the same specs/performance for the same price, I would most likely choose Nvidia. But AMD seems to offer much better bang for the buck for me, so I get to stay true to my colors.

No, mate. To begin, I subsequently revised my expectation to $300 for 8GB the variant.

Still, the broad consensus in the tech-reviewer community is that, performance wise, the 4060 Ti is really what a 4050 Ti should have been.

Previous gen MSRPs were as follows:
  • RTX 3050 @ $250
  • RTX 3060 @ $330
  • RTX 3060 Ti @ $400
So, technically, the 4060 Ti (i.e., "4050 Ti") should fit between the 3050 and 3060 at about $290-300.

I bought the 4070 version of this with three fans on Amazon for $700 total after tax. Definitely paying a little extra for the goodies, but still happy with my purchase. I think the goodies for this card are the same so I'll list what I got:

-Actually fairly nice quality tote bag with the same graphic as the box
-Magnetic aluminum plate that goes on top of the graphics card with the same graphic, looks nice in my case that has a clear side panel
-1 of 3 random figurines that I don't really recognize. I don't think any of them are Spiderman variants or at least not generally recognizable as Spiderman if you were to display it
-A few stickers both Zotac branded and Spiderverse related

First two goodies were surprisingly nice. Other two I've stashed away.

Unfortunatly this is just internet hyperbole! Techpower Up is really one of the authorities on testing cards and the deltas between them and your statement just don't add up. Yes, this generation did not see as big of a jump as the 3 series did, and yes they are overpriced for sure but the performance levels are not what you claim.

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-s...8-gb.c3890

4060 - 16% faster than the 3060 12gb - 8% slower than the 3060ti
4060 ti - 10% faster than the 3060 ti - 5% slower than the 3070 - the same as the 2080ti
4070 - 12% faster than the 3070 ti - 8% slower than the 3080 - same as the 6800XT
4070 ti - 3% better than the 3090 so yeah .......
4080 - 19%better than the 3090ti - Faster than the 7900xt and 4% slower than the 7900xtx

So the naming convention is fine and saying they underperform like that is disingenuous. The problem if the PRICING. They are stupidly priced. Only really good deal here is that 470 at around 550. When it gets to 500 it will be banger with the 7800xt with a little less performance but more features.
