Sounds like BS. All the things it says it dissolves are already liquid so the claim makes no sense.

Believe it or not, the general product actually works. I don't have the model listed in the deal, but I have the Xiaomi version that goes for ~$10 and a Heat It! version that I bought for $30. They work the same. The latter is more convenient because of the portable size and lack of battery. It does temporarily stop itching for a few hours. A bit dubious on the claims it speeds up healing, but at the very least, it does wonders to not lengthen healing time because I'm not making it worse by scratching.

A bit. It's momentary. I'd compare it to snapping a rubber band on your skin except with heat.

It is uncomfortable more than painful. Weighed against the discomfort of the bite itching etc, most of us prefer this. We have found it helps. Some bites need a few applications, but we are happy with it.
Eta: Also, some places of the body are more sensitive to heat than others 😀
