Be cautious of the type of bite when using this.

If you can't identify it with certainty, don't use it.

Increasing blood flow to a spider bite, for instance, just tends to spread it around faster.

If you can take the pain, this this works great. I just mention that because my kids are scared as heck of this thing haha. Every mosquito bite they get I ask them "want me to burn it?" and they yell "NOOOOOO!" haha. Anyways, I love this. I pretty much learned that pain will equalize any kind of itch after buying this. Do keep it mind it takes a minute or 2 after you do it for it to go aways (doesn't just instantly stop itching). Also as I mentioned before, this thing does hurt so if you are one that doesn't like pain this isn't for you. However, it does have two settings: tap once for 3 seconds of heat or twice for 5. I typically do it two or three times just to be safe. It has never left a mark on me before either.

This is a piece of plastic from a far away land that heats up your skin to 122 degrees for a few seconds. Apparently that helps? No thx.

I'll admit I was very skeptical at first but wife got it and then I got a couple mosquito bites and I was like screw it I'll try it. It certainly has sting obviously but I will say it does work.

It will sting you with that heat. It basically replaces the itch with something more painful. Just like if you scratch too much and it becomes painful so you stop scratching.

Yes. The heat hurts. For 30 seconds. It stops the mosquito bite from itching for days. I'll take that trade.

I have this. It actually works. I've used it on all kinds of bites as bugs seem to love me: mosquito, oak mite, chigger. My kids run from it. You could heat a spoon in hot water for the same effect but this is way more convenient

Theoretically this should work on pimples as well, which is a bacterial infection. Heat kills that faster, which is why you have fevers.

We have two. I can vouch that it 100% works to reduce , if not completely get rid of itchy mosquito bites. You can Google the science behind it. It does burn but you get used to it. Even my toddler uses it.
