Combo with this deal to make money. Assuming you buy 10 soups, 5 would be $1 each and the other 5 would be $2.19 each (that's what it's on sale for me). So you'd pay $16 for 10 soups and get $25 back. https://homeappetitreward.com/

Safeway and sister brands had the same deal last week, might be over by now.
edit: per below, through 10/17

At that price, buy and donate to a food bank. The local Interact high school group does "Trick or Canning" where they collect cans on Halloween for example

Definitely depends on the variety. Although I can't remember any of my results enough to be useful, several years ago I was comparing them directly against each other for fun, and I definitely found some preferable in one brand and some in the other.

Edit -- I'll add -- if one was $1 and the other was $2, I'd go with whichever was 1. I wouldn't say there's THAT much of a difference.

At our Vons here in the San Diego area they are having Progresso soups for 92 cents each with a limit of six per account. They also have a coupon available through the Vons app which takes off another dollar when you buy four cans of Progresso soup. So six cans ended up costing me $4.52 and when I use the home appetite reward rebate, I get $10 back, so I end up getting six cans of soup for free and receiving $5.48 for my trouble of buying the soups :-)

Do you mean the homeappetit reward? If so, how do you know that?
