These were the worst batteries.
They came uncharged and died within a week in my weight scale that I barely used.

Until Amazon starts buying them from Japan again, i will not be buying these chinese junk. The Japanese rechargeables are the only ones worth buying. I will stick with Eneloop, Ikea Ladda and Energizer.

I've had bad luck with Amazon rechargeables, both AAA and AA. Leaks, don't last long, refuse to recharge. I'm back to using Eneloops.

I had a pair of AA Amazon Basics that thermally ran away in my pocket and burned me. No thanks, I'll stick to my Eneloops.

I tried, I really did those Amazon basic ones and they don't hold charge well and die much much MUCH faster than my 15 year-old eneloops.

Would these make decent batteries for cheap solar lights? The ones that came out of them were only 600 maH.

Eneloops are amazing. I got 10 years out of mine. I will not use them in cheap solar lights however so will these work fine for that?

Buy any cheap charger on Amazon with good reviews I got one like 5 years ago for like $20 (they're less now like $9) you don't need to drop $40 on a charger for aa rechargeable batteries.
