Any experience with this? How are the controllers? Last system I bought (different brand and games) was unplayable due to severe controller lag. Returned it for a refund.

No experience myself, but I bought based on this 2020 youtube review from Retro Ralph. He says it isn't worth it at $40... but at $23 I think it's now worth it.
Jump to 5min into the review and he shows how you can add to the sdcard for more games, i.e. NES genesis SNES, etc. Also he mentions that wired usb Xbox controllers will work on this machine.

I have a couple of these, both the Pac-Man and Mega Man versions. Beware the D-pad on the controllers breaks easy if pressed on too hard. You can plug in a USB controller when the original breaks. It makes a nice travel rainy day game machine when on vacation since it can use a phone charger for power supply and you can load up a micro SD card with a lot of classic ROMs for the systems it supports.
