I actually missed this monitor being posted or ignored it cause it wasn't curved, but taking a look at it now, it seems to have everything I would want in a 4K monitor, even pivot to flip the screen vertically. Its also IPS, has HDR10, and super fast GTG and refresh rate.... Trying to find a reason not to buy this and keep waiting for a curved 32" for around the same price, but I dont think that will happen. I keep telling myself to hold on to Black Friday...

How did you get the AMEX offer?
Edit: Never mind. Quick Google search helped. You have to enroll your AMEX in Amazon rewards and be selected for the targeted promotion.

Thank the lord I didnt buy it yet, thanks for the heads up I completely missed that this was just a 2K monitor, and not a 4K, looking at deals when I first wake up definitely not the best idea
oh i wonder what kind of pa-- NOT VA PANELoh i think i figured it out
NOT VA PANEL is a necessity for a gaming monitor imo. The ghosting on VA panels makes them really unsuitable for FPS games. It's not too bad for other games but it's a blurry mess if you try to play a FPS on one. I'm going to have to get rid of mine if I plan to play any of them again.

This is true. I got the Acer VA 165hz from Costco, then ended up getting a Acer VA v240hz .5ms 1000R from Newegg, and it is absolutely amazing. There is no ghosting at all slick and butter smooth 👌🏽

It's a gaming monitor. Most machines can only run games decently at 1080p (1920x1080), and very, very few machines can run games well at 4k. This is the in-between spot between those two, and a good gaming card will run most games well on a 2k monitor like this one. It's a good trade-off for many gamers with a dedicated video card (2080 or 3070 or 4060 or higher).
