I actually missed this monitor being posted or ignored it cause it wasn't curved, but taking a look at it now, it seems to have everything I would want in a 4K monitor, even pivot to flip the screen vertically. Its also IPS, has HDR10, and super fast GTG and refresh rate.... Trying to find a reason not to buy this and keep waiting for a curved 32" for around the same price, but I dont think that will happen. I keep telling myself to hold on to Black Friday...

How did you get the AMEX offer?

Edit: Never mind. Quick Google search helped. You have to enroll your AMEX in Amazon rewards and be selected for the targeted promotion.

If you look at the frontpage theres a thread on the offers and cards that work.

Thank the lord I didnt buy it yet, thanks for the heads up I completely missed that this was just a 2K monitor, and not a 4K, looking at deals when I first wake up definitely not the best idea LMAO

NOT VA PANEL is a necessity for a gaming monitor imo. The ghosting on VA panels makes them really unsuitable for FPS games. It's not too bad for other games but it's a blurry mess if you try to play a FPS on one. I'm going to have to get rid of mine if I plan to play any of them again.

This is true. I got the Acer VA 165hz from Costco, then ended up getting a Acer VA v240hz .5ms 1000R from Newegg, and it is absolutely amazing. There is no ghosting at all slick and butter smooth πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

It's a gaming monitor. Most machines can only run games decently at 1080p (1920x1080), and very, very few machines can run games well at 4k. This is the in-between spot between those two, and a good gaming card will run most games well on a 2k monitor like this one. It's a good trade-off for many gamers with a dedicated video card (2080 or 3070 or 4060 or higher).

are you posting about VA vs VA or did you post a typo?

Definitely not. Panel quality matters a lot and the really high end LCD or VA panels are almost indistinguishable from most IPS panels. Especially for gaming.

Wow, excellent price. Ideal resolution for 27" and better price than most used. I been trying to get a used one for work but people are asking way too much for used stuff based on how much they paid.
