Really, I think Fender should be removed from the title entirely, as every model in the list is a Squier. It's not that Squiers are bad, but alerts and searches for "Fender" and "Guitar" are going to turn up this entry. It's not what those people are looking for.
To be fair, it is FENDER and their website. No different than ESP LTD, imo.
That said, the XII is really fun. But the Sonic and Affinity lines are notorious for sharp fret edges and cheap electronics so keep in mind if you're unable to handle those yourself.
Can confirm 10% off with Fender Play works. $309 for the Strat-o-Sonic is hella tempting. Though I doubt i play it much considering i barely play my Gibson LP Special.
It's worth noting that Fender's return policy at fender.com isn't particularly generous. If it's really defective, you're okay, but simply not liking the guitar means you're going to pay the return shipping as well as the cost of the original free shipping.

I bought the yellow Sonic Strat to Delonge-ify a couple months ago, and it exceeded expectation in every way. The strings were bad and needed replacing pretty much immediately, but the fretwork and neck was good and it sounds and played well. Very light if that matters to you.
If you are a Fender Play member, you should save an additional 10% as well.
Might want to put squier in the title, not fender. All my alert said was fender, was hoping for a pricing error but expected squier at that price. But good deal. I'd been eyeing one of those paranormal esquires.. this pushed me over the edge.
I already have one of the 12 string jazzmasters and the quality is excellent. Not a single issue with it.
And the basic Fender strings have come a good way and are perfectly usable.

Yes, and they do say "by Fender" on them, albeit it smaller print.
Weirdly, my squier bullet tele plays great and seems as good or better than some of the fender teles I have played in music stores, which I'm just to cheap to pay for a fender. Bullets are supposed to be a budget line of squiers, and I've played some that seemed fairly cheap. Not sure why mine is so nice.
I've been eyeing the Graffiti Yellow Strat for a while and I finally took the leap. Now if the serial has a manufacture date of January 2023 it'll make it more special. 🎸
Honestly, I feel like Squier nailed it with the regular colors on most of these models (though that graffiti yellow is pretty sick). That pink Rascal was calling my name, though, so my credit card company thanks you for the post. I did get a 3% bonus using Capital One shopping, and the extra 10% Fender Play discount stacking was a nice surprise, too.

I bought all those 40th Squiers that have been closing out around $300. Some minor issues like loose tuning keys with a little extra give here and there. But necks were all great with no fret sprout and pickups pretty decent as well. I think I liked the tele one the best. Not as nice as my America ultras obviously but leaps and bounds better than most guitars in that price range.

I'm certainly not of the opinion that Squier guitars are particularly inferior. Quite the opposite. I bought one of the 40th anniversary vintage telecasters though, and returned it. The neck and frets were gorgeous, but by the time I dealt with the three sloppy tuners, whatever was causing it to come out of tune every time I played it, and the really dark and muddy neck pickup, I figured I would have been another $150 into it. My son's left-handed Squier Classic Vibe Strat is awesome. Overall, I'm a bit of a skeptic on the really entry level models.

That being said, I've had my eye on that shell pink rascal bass for a while now so grabbed that. $340 after tax and play discount.
