The servant who makes it for you. All of that sounds icky - but could 2,917 people giving it a 4+ stars review be wrong? Yes, yes they could. worship

Honestly the real ones know Ibarra brand chocolate is superior to Abuelita. Ibarra is actually Mexican owned and produced vs the Abuelita Brand owned by Nestle which has terrible business and environmental practices.

I also recommend the hot chocolate that comes in tablets, takes longer but it is worth it.

The Ibarra tablet one also only has like 3 or 4 ingredients which are sugar, cacao paste, soy lecithin(keeps chocolate from oxidizing), and cinnamon.

To make it Mexican style heat up the milk and put the chocolate tablets in the milk until it dissolved, also make sure to throw in some whole sticks of cinnamon in it as well. You can also use a blender, wooden frother, or whisk to introduce air into it and make it light and frothy. The chocolate takes a while to dissolve I recommend breaking it into smaller pieces and you can even melt it in a little water but not too much then add it to the hot milk.

Nestle makes authentic Mexican hot chocolate like Taco Bell makes authentic Mexican food. I'd get Ibarra Hot Chocolate Mix that's actually made in Mexico since 1925.

Tasty stuff, but when you visit Mx you will find most places serve it homemade without the added ingredients. One of my favorite drinks after an ocean swim to warm me and with a calorie boost.

Nasty business in those packets! I can hardly buy anything after reading the ingredients! Between toxic artificial sweeteners and preservatives, little to eat in a box that's healthy.
