Doesn't have the sound ins jacket that some GD's have. Also Chineese mount as compared to the US insinkerator standard.

I'm not sure which is a better design. Any input?

insinkerator is easy to replace, don't get this

I installed one of their larger units and it was easy. Looks to be the same mounting setup. I have had better luck with the wasteking units then moen (gets stuck).

Can't speak for this model or mounting system, but I love my waste king disposal. I have the 1hp legend series I bought back in 2011. It gets heavy use and still going strong.
