I did ship-to-store before and quality was pretty good. The in-store prints are really bad. I ordered one print earlier this year and had to return it.
I have ordered 3 in store prints. They're pictures of my dog with the previous picture of my dog. They've all turned out really really good. I know they're printing them in store because they ran out of materials last time and I had to wait. Are you sure you're selecting full resolution when uploading your image? Bottom right corner before you select your image file.

Feel like I've gotten pictures done at cvs before but forgot to check the resolution and can't see where you choose standard or hd 🤔🤔 Hopefully it was in HD, picking up my print tomorrow night so we shall see!
Bottom right corner before you push the select images button there's a button that says upload preferences.

The last time this "deal" was posted comments said almost identical things, including asking about needing to stretch over the wood frame (or not), and the HD button press.

I bought one then just to try CVS prints. Quality was crap, it was printed on textured cardboard and then folded like a pizza box over a thin plastic frame. The backing is another piece of cardboard with an adhesive strip, which is stuck on to keep the sides from unfolding (poorly aligned in the case of my print). The backing also gives you a hanger strip (the backs are noted to fall off eventually). After ordering, before picking up I saw another comment about the coating being so thin the act of slipping it into it's "protective" cardboard sleeve was enough to scratch it. Sure enough when I picked it up, mine had been on the upper sides near corners. IMO these "canvas" prints are barely worth $5.

Thanks OP. Photo/Canvas came out well. Thanks for tipping me off about >When uploading for first time, be sure to select the higher resolution. It defaults to standard.> I don't know why they would default to standard/lower res, especially if they are charging $100 for these normally. Although I can't imagine anyone paying $100 for a 16x20 Canvas print, it's not super high quality or anything, but for $20 it's a great value.

Got it thanks! Had to do it on the website to see what you were talking about instead of the app
