Nope. FMIC seems to only like putting stainless steel frets on their high-end guitars: American Ultra Luxe, Charvel USA Select, Wolfgang USA... some others I'm probably forgetting but they're not cheap.

Why are some models called "Dinky" ?

Are they dinky size compared to regular models?

Not a very flattering title, just sayin...

The Dinky is their name for that Body/Construction Style. Slightly smaller than Soloist (~10% smaller body), different Cutaway bevels. Dinky are Bolt-On, vs Neck-through for Soloist models. Different neck shapes.

Ah that one, it was in stock sometime before it hit the front page. That one and the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas in Old Yella.

It's a nice burl pattern for sure. They might restock it in the future.

Thanks for the informative reply. Would the Dinky models be considered more popular by most or is it the Soloist models?

Didn't want to leave you hanging on this question but the Dinky is Jackson's most popular production guitar, most likely due to the Dinky having a JS model whereas the Soloist doesn't (neck-thru being more labor-intensive and all). That said, higher-end Soloists do retain a bit better resell value if that's why you're asking. Not by much though.

Better question yet is your preference. The Dinky is much closer to the contemporary "super shredder" style guitar whereas the Soloist ties more traditionally to the super strat idea of the mid 80's. Dinky necks are also a bit thinner than Soloist FWIK.
