Four times a year is a lot for Cabo. I live in La Paz, a two hour drive, and I only go once or twice a year.
Unlimited. My wife and I are going on our 5th flight on Sunday with ours. Saved over 100k in points.
Unlimited, but the companion only flies free (+911 fees) on the same flight as the primary who holds the pass (virtually).

Ideally, you'd charge everything to personal cards- if they apply to your business or not. Consumer cards carry lots of protections that don't exist for business lines cards. The reason card companies frequently push to get you into business cards is that it is less expensive for them when things go wrong. You're going to be personally responsible for your business debt until you are will into medium sized anyway (likely years of history, over 10 employees, $5m revenue, and actual tangible assets) so might as well get protected like an individual.
There are cases where the rewards outweigh the risks, so if this does for you, great. Generally speaking, don't charge anything that you may dispute, no far future travel like a tour or cruise, internet orders would be discouraged, Don't carry the card when you're not going to use it, and don't save the card number online.
What is the best closing date, to ensure you get pass on 4th or 5th ?
I'm thinking 1st day of month for both. Then I'd make final purchases around 12/5/23 ? Does that make sense? The final points would post around 1/2/24. I'd have companion pass a few days after 1/2/24. Is this doable?
Thanks
Just be careful with the dates. I've seen plenty of stories of people trying to time it who got their bonuses in Dec instead of Jan due to holidays and weekends. Sometimes they posted early even if someone was a few dollars short of the min spend. I would recommend not getting super close to the minimum spend until you're sure it's going to post in Jan. I usually just wait until late Jan or Feb to be safe.
This.
I have a legitimate business, operating for four years. LLC, business license, etc. Chase randomly shut down my credit card account that I clearly use for industry specific purchases, it took four weeks to get it reopened with all sorts of paperwork needed. I think the days of "I have a 'business'" are probably over.
