For people who don't "know" Hisense's product line because they have no experience with it…

- 2022 models have the "H" suffix (like this one), 2023 models have "K" suffix

- A series has their bargain basement low price products, with 6/7 series existing within the A series

- U series has their better products, with increasing quality in 6/7/8 series existing within the U series (ex. best product is the U8K)

If you just want size with no consideration of quality, this might be worth a look. Don't get the wrong impression that this is anything but one of the worst products they offer however.

For comparison…

- An 85" U7K is $1700
- An 85" U8K is $2000

Since Rtings reviewed an IPS panel for the A6H and a VA panel for the A6K, this A7 (VA panel) will perform more like the A6K series (but brighter) which rates better than the TCL S4 series. Advantages of this A7 over the S4: gets brighter, WCG, VRR, better response time...

Wish there was a Rtings review of it. I'm just going to assume it's close to the A6, which puts it lower quality-wise than a TCL S-4, which is $100 more for the 85 inch.

Thanks. VA aside, the U6K is a mini-LED, while this isn't, right? I would assume that would make the similarities less so between the two TVs.

Btw, do you have a source showing that it's a VA panel? Not seeing it anywhere on Hisense's website or the TV's spec sheet.

Sorry... my mistake... I meant to type A6K. However, I did attach the correct A6K Rtings review in the comparison. I'll adjust prior post. The attached here shows VA panel... https://www.displayspecifications...l/73e72f43

This has 60hz refresh rate. Costco has this 120 hz for $50 more. I've seen this LG tv go for $699 during non-football season
LG 86" Class - UQ8000 Series

I've seen a few people mention finding the LG 86" but I've searched high and low with no luck.

I think most 86 are IPS and most 85 are VA but can be exceptions
