Not sure if it still applies, but it used to mean that they stick a black frame inbetween each normal frame. It artificially pumps up the contrast and refresh rate.
Nothing against Hisense, loads of mfg's do/did it.
I just recently got a Hisense 85" U8K and very happy with the mini led, but it's $1k more.

With these 75"+ tvs from HiSense;
Pay $1,500+ for 4 yrs of 6hrs/day use or pay $750 for 2-4yrs of 6hrs/day use is another way to look at it as well.

I've never had a high end TV and I'm far from an expert when it comes to TV quality but I absolutely love the Hisense so far!
So I know for the future, has anyone had a big Costco TV serviced or replaced under warranty? If I'm expected to take a TV this big anywhere or ship it (even worse), that would be an absolute dealbreaker.
I'm assuming meth

I used to chuckle imagining a 8'x10' wall size TV, now I'm thinking it's right around the corner.

With those hourly watch rates, a TV would last me 15 years.
